Q: What are the exit and entrance requirements for Los Cabos?

A: Entrance into Mexico requires a current passport with six months minimum validity at time of entry. If you do not have a current passport valid at the time of entry, you will not be permitted to board your initial flight.

Re-entry into your home country will require both proof of citizenship and verification of identity, so keep your passport safe at all times while in Mexico.

Travelers are responsible for checking entry requirements and obtaining any necessary visas.

Q: I am coming from Europe or Australia. What should I know about my travel?

A: APAC & EU travelers may request a check-in on May 2nd, as we understand flight availability may be more limited. Your extra room night will be covered. Per company policy, Long-haul flights over eight hours may be booked in Premium Economy. Any additional cabin upgrades are at your own expense.

Q: How many bags can I bring?

A: For most airlines, each passenger is allowed two carry-on pieces of luggage; a purse or backpack will count as one of these two items. The policy for complimentary checked baggage varies for each airline. Please check the website for your specific airline regarding the baggage allowance.

Q: What is the TSA policy on medications and liquids?

A: Liquids, gels, and creams are not allowed in carry-on luggage unless each individual container is less than 3 ounces and all containers are in a clear, 1-quart, plastic zip-top bag. Each passenger is allowed one 1-quart bag. You may be required to remove this plastic bag from your carry-on at the security checkpoint unless you have TSA PreCheck access. Prescription medications in original containers are allowed in quantities exceeding (3) three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the TSA checkpoint. Pack all medication and valuables in your carry-on luggage. Please keep all medications, prescription or over-the-counter, in original, labeled containers.

Q: What is the attire?

A: Casual, cool, comfortable attire is suggested for all daytime activities. Shorts, sandals, bathing suits and cover-ups are acceptable. Swim coverups/shirts and shoes are required around the resort when not at the pool or the beach.

Resort Casual is appropriate for evenings.

  • Men: pants, nice jeans, or nice shorts, and a collared or button-down shirt.
  • Women: sundresses, jumpsuits, skirts, nice shorts or pants and flats or wedges. A light sweater or jacket may be needed in the evenings as it tends to be cool once the sun sets, especially by the water.

Q: Do I need pack cash to use for tips?

A: All gratuities associated with the program have been prepaid for you. This includes hotel porterage, group transportation, and group meals. Should you go out on your own, it is customary to follow these guidelines:

  • Hotel bellmen and cab drivers: $1-5, depending on service.
  • Restaurants: 10 - 15% tip if gratuity is not already included.

Of course, if service is excellent or poor, you should use your discretion while tipping.

Q: Does the hotel have WiFi?

A: Complimentary internet is provided by the hotel. Login instructions will be provided at check-in.
