HOW TO BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS

Winners will receive a link to book flights for themselves and their guests upon completion of registration.

The following items are required for travel:

  • A valid passport upon entry. Your passport must remain valid throughout the duration of your stay. We recommend your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates to ensure no issues.
  • Airline Tickets. Printed or accessed on your smartphone.
  • Travelers are responsible for checking entry requirements and obtaining any necessary visas.

NOTE: Long-haul flights over eight hours may be booked in Premium Economy. Any additional cabin upgrades are at your own expense.

IMPORTANT:  We recommend that you re-confirm your flights directly with your airline 24 hours prior to departure in order to obtain your terminal and gate information. Should your travel plans change on travel day, please contact the Quorum Hospitality Staff: Quorum@planningmode-events.com.

TRAVEL TIPS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Should your travel plans change on travel day, please contact the Quorum Hospitality Staff: Quorum@planningmode-events.com.

  • To ensure proper transfer of luggage from your home city to Cabo San Lucas, please include your name, address and phone number on your luggage tags and check your luggage through to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).
  • With heightened security at all airports, we recommend that you arrive at the airport a minimum of two hours prior to your flight departure time. We also recommend that you pack any essential items and a change of clothing in your carry-on luggage, in case your luggage is lost.
  • Pack all medication and valuables in your carry-on luggage. Please keep all medications, prescription or over-the-counter, in original, labeled containers.
  • Lighters are not permitted in checked baggage if they are filled with fuel; however, common lighters are permitted in carry-on luggage. Matches are not permitted in checked baggage. You may have one book of safety matches in your carry-on luggage.
  • Airports may require you to remove shoes and place them through the X-ray machine. “Slip on” shoes allow for easier and faster access through the security checkpoint.
  • Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or accessories that contain metal. These items may set off the metal detectors. You will also be required to remove all outer coats, jackets and blazers.
  • You will be required to remove all laptops and tablets from carry-on luggage to go through the X-ray machine individually.
  • If you have TSA PreCheck® clearance in the U.S., you will not be required to remove your shoes, jackets or blazers during security screening. Additionally, you will not be required to remove laptops, tablets, or liquids in a (1) one-quart bag from your carry-on luggage.
  • Make a copy of your passport to carry with you. Should you accidentally lose the original document, the copy will make it much easier to have your passport replaced for re-entry into your home country. It is also a good idea to leave a copy of your passport at home.

HOW TO FIND YOUR TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL

  • Upon arrival at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), your first stop is Immigration. Make sure you have your current passport in hand. An Immigration official will verify your document. After clearing Mexican Immigration, you will follow the signs to baggage claim, whether you have checked bags or not. Report any missing bags at this time.
  • After Baggage Claim, the last stop is Customs. A Customs official will request your Customs Declaration Form or QR code and ask you to push a button. If you receive a red light, your luggage will likely be examined. If you get a green light, you may proceed to the exit, although a random examination of your luggage could still be conducted.
  • After Customs, you will pass through two rooms and proceed all the way outdoors. When passing through, you will see several tourist information stands and representatives. Do not stop or accept discounts or promotions from the people inside the terminal. They are time share promoters.
  • Proceed all the way out of the doors, through the right-hand exit. Once you are outside of the arrivals terminal, walk to the CANOPY/SHADED AREA #6 (SIX), straight ahead across the street.
  • A Terramar representative with a light-yellow colored shirt will be waiting for you with a sign displaying the Quorum logo.
  • Guests will be driven straight to Garza Blanca Resort & Spa. Transfer time is 25 - 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
